The Intersection of Software Development and Privacy

June 16, 2020

In today’s world, privacy concerns during software development are critical. We need to consider how we collect, store, share, and archive information across the DevSecOps process in a way that respects the privacy of individuals. The DevSecOps value stream is ultimately accountable to provide business value. This implies the integration of privacy principles with DevSecOps. In the end, privacy and speed are no longer part of a zero-sum game. We must balance the business needs in a way that improves time to market while managing risk. Attendees can expect to walk away with: - A framework for enabling business-led privacy requirements in DevSecOps - Understanding privacy challenges and tradeoffs in DevSecOps
