It's Cool to Care About Security Requirements

We at Security Compass are thrilled to be named Gartner Cool Vendor 2014 for the Application & Endpoint security category with our SD Elements product. Each year, Gartner identifies new Cool Vendors in key technology areas and publishes a series of research reports highlighting these innovative vendors and their products and services. This is a great validation of the need for security requirements in software development, and the success we’ve had with deploying SD Elements at our clients (Check out this blog post from Adobe that discusses how they use SD Elements).

Here’s an except from the report: “Security Compass’ approach helps define explicit security requirements at the very beginning of the [Software Life Cycle — SLC], and allows organizations to avoid introducing vulnerabilities into the design and code at later SLC phases.” You can read the report here.
