Global Technology Company Uses SD Elements to Integrate Security into DevOps and Operationalize GDPR Compliance

Pain

In past years, security practices have taken too long and haven’t fit well into our client's DevOps process, despite the fact that they have dozens of privacy engineers and very mature privacy engineering practices. They were also finding it difficult to keep track of the compliance status of applications.

Problem

•The client needed to integrate security practices into their DevOps process.

•They also needed an efficient way to operationalize the GDPR requirements.

Solution

•Our client used SD Elements to distribute GDPR compliance tasks to engineering teams.

•They also used SD Elements to track the compliance status of applications.

Result

They now make use of two distinct, automatically-generated GDPR compliance reports in SD Elements, one for auditors and one custom-made for agile developers.
